
This course prepares fire and emergency services personnel to meet the Job Performance Requirements of NFPA 1041, Fire & Emergency Services Instructor Professional Qualifications (Level I). You'll learn to assemble course materials, adapt lesson plans, organize the learning environment, deliver lessons using effective instructional techniques, operate audiovisual equipment, and administer, grade, and report on student evaluations. The course culminates in a graded teach-back and the NPQ Instructor I certification exam.

Rooms run on Jitsi Meet β free, no account needed to join, and it works in the browser on your phone or laptop (or the free Jitsi Meet app). The first person to open a room may be asked to sign in once with a Google or GitHub account to start it β everyone after that joins with just the link. Coordinate a time in the Chat tab, or open a direct message and tap π₯ to send a private room link that only the two of you share. Then run your 12β15 minute lesson and have your partner time it and give feedback.
